Dr James Temple is a practising medical doctor and co-founder of Serenova Clinic. He studied medicine at King's College London (GKT School of Medical Education) and was awarded an intercalated BSc (Hons) in Imaging Sciences, giving him a deep understanding of X-ray, ultrasound and MRI theory and application.

After medical school he completed his foundation training in London, followed by core surgical training in the capital. He was then appointed to a higher surgical training number in trauma and orthopaedic surgery, one of the most competitive training pathways in the UK, where he developed advanced anatomical knowledge, procedural precision and rigorous patient-safety standards.

James has also completed accredited postgraduate training in facial aesthetics, including botulinum toxin, injectable skin remodelling and advanced facial anatomy, alongside complication management and emergency protocols. Training is refreshed annually.

Every consultation and treatment at Serenova Clinic is carried out by James personally.

Treatments

Two treatments, done properly

We deliberately keep the menu short. Each treatment is assessed on its clinical merit for you, and we will tell you honestly if it is not the right option.

Anti-wrinkle injections

What it is: A prescription-only muscle relaxing injectable, administered by a doctor, that softens the repeated movements which create lines across the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes.
Who it suits: Adults who want to soften dynamic lines or prevent them deepening. Not suitable in pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with certain neuromuscular conditions.
What to expect: A 30 minute appointment. Consultation and facial assessment, then a series of very fine injections. Discomfort is minimal and no anaesthetic is needed. You can return to work immediately.
Aftercare: Stay upright for four hours, avoid exercise, saunas, facials and alcohol for 24 hours, and do not rub the treated area. Small raised bumps settle within an hour.
How long results last: Onset from 3 to 5 days, full effect at 2 weeks. Results typically last 3 to 4 months.

Profhilo skin remodelling

What it is: An injectable hyaluronic acid treatment that spreads under the skin to hydrate and stimulate collagen and elastin. It is not a filler and does not add volume or change facial shape.
Who it suits: Anyone with skin laxity, crepiness or dullness across the face, neck, décolletage or hands, typically from the mid thirties onwards.
What to expect: Ten small injection points across the face, or a tailored pattern elsewhere. Around 30 minutes. Temporary raised blebs settle within 24 hours.
Aftercare: No make-up for 12 hours, no exercise, heat or facials for 24 hours, and keep the area clean. Mild bruising is possible.
How long results last: Best results 4 to 6 weeks after the second session, lasting around 6 months. A top-up every 6 months maintains it.

Questions before you book

Who will carry out my treatment?

Every consultation and treatment is carried out personally by Dr James Temple, a GMC registered medical doctor. Nothing is delegated.

Do I need a consultation first?

Yes. All treatments require a face to face medical consultation and assessment. Prices are confirmed after that assessment, and treatment on the same day is often possible.

Is there any downtime?

Injectable treatments have minimal downtime. Small bumps, redness or occasional bruising can occur and usually settle within 24 to 48 hours.

What happens before my appointment?

Once you have booked, you will receive an email with a secure medical history form covering conditions, medications, allergies, pregnancy or breastfeeding status and any previous treatments. It is completed and stored confidentially and reviewed by the doctor before you arrive.

Can I be treated if I am pregnant or breastfeeding?

No. Injectable aesthetic treatments are not offered during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Please let us know and we will happily see you afterwards.

Consultations and treatments take place in London Bridge, central London. The exact address is communicated once your booking is confirmed. Appointments run Monday to Saturday.

How much do treatments cost?

Anti-wrinkle injections are £185 for one area, £200 for two areas and £250 for three areas. Profhilo skin remodelling is £300 per session. A deposit is taken at booking and deducted from the treatment price.

Once your booking is confirmed, we email you a secure medical history form. It covers your medical conditions, current medications, allergies, pregnancy and breastfeeding status, and any previous aesthetic treatments.

Your responses are submitted through our encrypted clinical records system, are visible only to your treating doctor, and are never published or shared. Completing it before you arrive means more of your appointment is spent on assessment and treatment.
