A facial SPF option
Ultrasun Face SPF50+
A face sunscreen to consider for daily use, applied generously as the label directs.
The Serenova brand edit
Protection is a daily practice.
An SPF number is only part of the decision. Our Ultrasun edit helps you consider texture, intended use and consistent application, with after-sun care kept clearly separate from sun protection.
A place in your routine

A facial SPF option
A face sunscreen to consider for daily use, applied generously as the label directs.

Protection in a tone-focused routine
Sun protection is a useful foundation when uneven tone is a concern, not a guarantee that pigmentation will fade.

A body sunscreen format
Consider the intended use and reapplication directions, especially around exercise, sweating and swimming.
Our perspective
We selected Ultrasun to offer a choice of facial and body sunscreen formats. The useful product is one you can apply generously and reapply as directed. We explain protection as a routine, not a promise that a single application makes sun exposure safe.

Suitability & everyday use
Look for UVA and UVB protection on the individual sunscreen label. SPF describes UVB protection under test conditions; it is not a measure of how many hours you can safely stay in the sun.
Apply generously before exposure according to the label. Reapply at least every two hours outdoors and after swimming, sweating or towelling. Use shade and protective clothing as well.
After-sun care is a comfort step after exposure, not sunscreen. It cannot undo UV damage or replace protection. No sunscreen blocks all UV radiation.
Serenova Evidence
Correct use of broad-spectrum sunscreen reduces UV exposure. Protection depends on the tested formula, the amount applied and reapplication, alongside other protective measures.
The wider evidence for sun protection does not establish every additional anti-pigmentation, anti-pollution or anti-ageing claim. Check the individual label and product evidence note. We do not promise complete protection or that sunscreen treats pigmentation.
Our product assessments use Well established, Good evidence or Early or emerging. They are not brand-wide ratings, regulatory approvals or guarantees of results.
For skincare choices, start with your concerns and current routine. For supplement suitability or medicines, speak to our pharmacy team.
A little more clarity
No. SPF is measured under controlled conditions and is not a safe-exposure timer. Use shade, clothing and regular reapplication.
At least every two hours outdoors and after swimming, sweating or towelling, following the individual label. Apply enough to cover exposed areas evenly.
No. After Sun has no role as a substitute for SPF, and it does not reverse UV damage.
Not necessarily. Tolerance depends on the whole formulation and your skin. Follow the label and seek advice if products repeatedly irritate you.
