Our perspective
We selected JorgObé for the balance between everyday cleansing and moisturising steps and targeted serums. Our role is to help you decide which step adds value, and when an exfoliant or vitamin A product may be more than your skin needs.

Suitability & everyday use
A cleanser, moisturiser and separate daytime sunscreen form a practical foundation. Add a targeted step only once that foundation feels comfortable.
Begin vitamin A cautiously at night, following the label. Avoid combining a new retinol and AHA exfoliant on the same evening. Reduce frequency or stop if irritation develops.
Avoid topical retinoids during pregnancy or when trying to conceive. Ask your clinician about use while breastfeeding, after procedures or alongside prescription skin treatments.
Serenova Evidence
Retinoids have evidence for selected skin concerns; exfoliating acids and niacinamide also have supporting research in particular formulations and uses. Concentration, delivery and tolerance affect results.
An ingredient study is not a trial of every JorgObé product. We do not promise that a serum will treat acne or pigmentation, or attach a brand-wide evidence rating. The product-level note explains what its assessment covers.
Our product assessments use Well established, Good evidence or Early or emerging. They are not brand-wide ratings, regulatory approvals or guarantees of results.
For skincare choices, start with your concerns and current routine. For supplement suitability or medicines, speak to our pharmacy team.
A little more clarity
No. Start with cleansing, moisturising and sunscreen, then consider a single additional step for a specific concern.
Avoid introducing them together or using both on the same evening initially. Follow the labels, build frequency cautiously and stop if your skin becomes irritated.
Avoid topical retinoids during pregnancy or when trying to conceive. Ask a clinician for an alternative and for advice during breastfeeding.
Tolerance varies with the formula and your skin. Introduce it gradually, and do not apply a new active to irritated skin. Persistent redness or burning needs advice.
