Recovery
Post-Procedure Recovery
Skin that has been treated with laser, microneedling, a professional peel or injectables has different needs from healthy skin, and the recovery window is when results are either protected or lost. This routine covers the products; your practitioner covers the protocol.

Your practitioner's aftercare instructions override everything on this page. Timings vary considerably between procedures and between clinics, so if their advice differs from ours, follow theirs and contact them with any concerns about healing.
What to expect
Redness, swelling, tightness and flaking are normal in the first days and vary by procedure. Actives including retinoids, acids and vitamin C stay out of the routine until your practitioner confirms otherwise, typically at least a week and often longer.
Contact your practitioner urgently if
You develop increasing pain, spreading redness, heat, pus, blistering or fever. These are not part of normal recovery.
